According to the results of a recent study by the analytical centre NAFI, “70% of Russians are anxious about the social and economic situation.” A lot of respondents admit that they cope with stress “as best they can”, but often not in the way that experts recommend. Evalar, a pharmaceutical company with 30 years of experience in the field of phytotherapy, reveals the potency of a herbal component that is currently available in Russia: 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP). We present you two new complexes based on it.
5-HTP is called a “non-drug antidepressant”. It produces serotonin, which is called the “hormone of happiness.” As for 5-HTP itself, it is synthesized from the amino acid tryptophan. But with high levels of stress hormones, this process is disrupted. A vicious circle closes: serotonin is especially lacking at the moment we need it so much. But if you take 5-HTP, it joins the process without additional transformations and is immediately directed to the synthesis of serotonin.2
5-HTP preparations helps to:3
reduce the impact of stress and its manifestations on the body: anxiety, restlessness, a feeling of nervous tension, irritability, aggressiveness and apathy;
calm down and relax;
improve the mood;
support the nervous system as a whole;
improve the quality and duration of sleep.
Moreover, 5-HTP will be of interest to those who keep their weight trim or try to quit smoking: the preparation helps reduce irritability when giving up sweets and cigarettes.3
New 5-HTP 200 mg by Evalar is a preparation with double potency, as it contains 2 times more 5-HTP compared to the usual dosage of 100 mg.4 As a natural source of this ingredient, we use German Griffonia extract, which is standardized for 5-HTP content. This guarantees the declared composition and the dosage of the active ingredient: no less than 200 mg in each capsule. And to accelerate the conversion of 5-HTP to serotonin, we added vitamin B6 to the composition in the biologically active5 highly digestible3 form of pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P-5-P). It is directly involved in the synthesis of the “hormone of happiness.”5
If you have taken 5-HTP 100 mg before but need a higher dosage to keep feeling calm, balanced and being in a good mood, you can choose the new 5-HTP 200 mg. And if you are concerned about not only emotional, but also physical manifestations of stress, for example, tiredness, a feeling of tension in the muscles, a headache, take note of the 5-HTP preparation enhanced with additional components: magnesium and extracts of special herbs.
Our second new product – 5-HTP Complex Evalar – is a combination of 5-HTP and vitamin B6, fortified with magnesium, lemon balm, mint, passionflower and valerian. Each of the ingredients is presented in special forms ensuring a high degree of absorption and activity.
✔ Griffonia seed extract of German production is standardized for 5-HTP content.
✔ Magnesium is in a chelate form, bound to the amino acid glycine. This form ensures high digestibility of the mineral.6
✔ Vitamin B6 is in the biologically active form of pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P-5-P).5
✔ Melissa, mint, passionflower and valerian are not presented in the usual crushed form but as highly active extracts.
