More than 7,000 doctors participated in a scientific conference at the Evalar production facility

On September 4th in the region of Altai, the series of interregional scientific and practical conferences for doctors took place. Conference titled as "Current Opportunities for Prevention and Treatment in the Practice of Various Specialties 2023," organized by Evalar at its production site.

Over 7,000 doctors from all regions of the country had the opportunity to meet with specialists at the federal level and actively engage with professionals from leading research organizations. In 2023, Evalar initiated a series of events for practicing doctors from various regions, aiming to provide unique opportunities for accessing new scientific data, current clinical practices, and expanding interaction with leading figures in the field of medicine.

One of the key experts at the event, Dr. Leonid Grigorievich Spivak, a Doctor of Medical Sciences and Professor at the Institute of Urology and Reproductive Health of the Sechenov University, highly appreciated the project's significance for the development of local medicine. As he stated: "The importance of conducting such events is without any doubt can connect specialists from remote regions and provide them with the most advanced scientific medical knowledge, technologies, and teach them more about available therapeutic options. In the end, all of this benefits those for whom we all work - our patients".

Prominent speakers at the event included experts who delivered presentations on various medical topics such as the treatment and prevention of urinary tract infections (Dr Leonid Grigorevich Spivak), women's health issues related to menopause (Dr Elena Ivanovna Ermakova), scientific justification for nutritional support in the face of global challenges (Dr Svetlana Vladimirovna Orlova), and clinical application of innovative nutraceuticals for health maintenance in the routine practice of a general practitioner (Dr Elena Igorevna Korshun).

The event was hold in a hybrid format, with over 7,000 specialists participating online, including general practitioners, urologists, gynaecologists, endocrinologists, and a delegation of doctors from clinics in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and the Altai region. After the scientific session, attendees had the opportunity to personally explore the process of producing herbal medicinal products within the full production cycle.

Natalia Prokopyeva, Evalar's Chairperson of the Board of Directors, emphasized the company's commitment to transparent interaction with the medical community. As she stated: "Today, much is said about import substitution. As a domestic manufacturer, we wanted to give leading specialists in the medical community the opportunity to personally see the high technological level achieved in the industry. Dr. Elena Ermakova, Senior Researcher in the Department of Gynecological Endocrinology at the National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Perinatology named after Academician V.I. Kulakov, noted, "Today's event vividly demonstrated the potential for import substitution that Russian pharmaceutical manufacturers possess. We saw with our own eyes that domestic production can be advanced and high-tech, meeting high global quality standards. All of this already creates opportunities for patients to access affordable therapy clinically equivalent to Western.”
