Evalar recognized as a leader in the sales of dietary supplements in Eastern Europe, Russia, and the CIS

For the first time, a Russian pharmaceutical company has been recognized as a leader in Eastern Europe. The international research bureau Euromonitor International has acknowledged the company Evalar as a leader in the sales volume of multicomponent dietary supplements among the companies in Eastern Europe, Russia, and the CIS. Researchers analyzed the dietary supplement markets in 20 countries: Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.

As the CEO of the holding company Evalar mentioned: "It is a matter of special pride for us that our work has received recognition from international research organizations. We have managed to strengthen the leadership of our brand in the dietary supplement market, increasing our market share in several categories. All this became possible thanks to the company's flexible position – we updated our assortment by more than a quarter, promptly introducing vitamin-mineral complexes with modern forms of release, including effervescent vitamins, and innovations that consumers have embraced. We also secured leadership in the sales of our products in the pharmacy e-commerce segment with a share of 14.3%. The company's products are also represented on all major online platforms." 

The company Evalar was founded in 1991 in the Altai region by senior researcher Larisa Prokopyeva. Since 2006, the company has officially become the leader in the sales volume of dietary supplements in Russia. In 2014, the company became the first in the country to receive a certificate of compliance with the international GMP standard for dietary supplements. According to DSM-Group data, in Russia, for the first 10 months of 2021 Evalar's market share was 17.25% in monetary terms. The company's product range includes over 400 items.

Over 30 years, the company has sold more than 1.5 billion packages of natural remedies – today, every third resident of our country prefers to buy products under the brand Evalar.
